Harry Potter

            Harry Potter was born to Lily and James Potter on July 31st, 1980. A few months after his first birthday, Lord Voldemort came seeking to kill Harry(according to a prophecy he heard). Harry's parents were killed trying to shield him and when Voldemort used killing curse on Harry it rebounded on himself. Harry is the only known wizard to have survived the Killing curse which left him with a lightning-bolt shaped scar on his forehead. Afterwards Harry was left to be with his next closest relatives the "Dursley's" i.e Aunt Petunia(Lily's Sister) and Uncle Vernon(Petunia's Husband), who dreaded anything remotely related to magic. Harry was subject to ill-treatment in the hands of Dursleys who seldom acknowledged him and who lied to him about his parent's death.

Harry at Hogwarts

When Harry turned 11, He got letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and got to know about his being a Wizard. At Hogwarts he was sorted into Gryffindor House and met fellow gryffindors Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger who later became his best friends and together they embarked on a seven year journey in the battle against Voldemort. Harry was said to have resembled his father completely except for his eyes which were the same shade of green as his mother's. Almost immediately after he joined Hogwarts Harry met Snape, the Potions master who never lost an opportunity to criticise Harry. Both loathed each other throughout the series. Harry was apersonal favourite of Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts and always looked to him for help and advice.

After Dumbledore's death and Ministry's downfall, the trio i.e. Harry, Ron and Hermione hunted down Voldemort’s Horcruxes destroying them and Harry faced his life-long enemy Voldemort during the Battle of Hogwarts and finally defeated him. Later, Harry went on to become the head of Auror office at Ministry of Magic and married Ginny Weasley with whom he had three children (James Sirius, Albus Severus and Lily Luna).
